First of all, a warm welcome to my personal space. This space is shaped by writing, observation, and long attention.

I am Genevieve Cheung — a writer at heart, a lifelong traveller between cultures, and someone who learns primarily through lived experience. Over the years, my path has moved through different countries, languages, philosophies, and inner seasons. What has remained consistent is a quiet inquiry into how we live, how we change, and how time leaves its imprint on us.

I often touch on spirituality from a down-to-earth perspective — the Tao, the Way. Yet you don’t need a spiritual background to be here. Curiosity is enough. This site is for those who enjoy exploring ideas and philosophies—sometimes thoughtfully, sometimes uncertainly—while asking what it means to live with greater awareness and less noise.

My work draws from several streams: Zen and Tao philosophy, creative writing, cultural observation, and astrology studied as a language of time rather than a system of belief. As a certified astrologer, I observe how patterns repeat, how cycles unfold, and how individual lives are shaped within larger rhythms. For me, astrology is not about prediction, but about orientation — a way of listening more closely to time itself.

In recent years, my focus has shifted toward embracing our humanness through conscious living. After more than three decades in Italy, I am now building a slower, more grounded life in Vinci (the natal place of Leonardo Da Vinci), Tuscany — learning again how to live in rhythm with the land, the seasons, and daily work. This is a lived experiment in simplicity, responsibility, and presence. Some people might call this “New Earth living.” I prefer to let actions speak for themselves: watching the chickens lay eggs, the dog run joyfully, and the roses bloom under the Tuscan sun. Genevieve Grove is a Bio Retreat for those seeking peace away from everyday chaos.
